RE:A crazy thing happened...

You've given me a great idea - soak the car, then innocently drive up under the nearest Heron rookery.

"What fabulous spey feathers!! I wonder how they came to be stuck on my hood??" <g>

Thanks Juro - You're always an Inspiration!

A crazy thing happened...

I'm washing salt from my truck the other day and find a sopping wet blue and yellow macaw feather in the suds. I keep one as a decoration in my truck so though oh crap, it fell out and I doused it.

I rinsed it in a puddle and placed it on my dash to dry out. Next day, the thing is dry and looks quite good. I notice it looks a heck of a lot better than it did before. I also notice the barbs are almost even on one side than the other. I'm sure one side didn't shrink from the side tail feather I put into the truck so I turned around and my ol' ratty one's still there.

Someone brought a real nice B&Y macaw feather to the car wash and dropped it... it looks like a 40 dollar feather, freshly rinsed too!

I'll tie some horns into my swap flies with them.
