Chris Except maybe a morning in Maine in Maine. Come on up sometime. Spent today chasing partridge up country with Ian on his first hunting trip on his own license with his first shotgun. What a day, leaves were at peak and saw lots of birds.

Lefty Juro, I'll go. Nothing like a morning in Maine in Mass.

John Desjardins I've got next Monday off work for scouting, and brookies in another area stream, so I'll have a report for you early next week.

juro Those salmon were a little advanced in the spawning stage last year, anyone interested in targeting them a little earlier? How about the first big rain in mid-late October?

John Desjardins For up to date info on status you can call the ranger station in Clinton at 978 365-3272
Everything at Wachusett was open when I called last week. Now I just need to get the time for a scouting trip.

A co-worker of mine crosses the singing bridge on the Stilly regularly. I asked him to check for new signs limiting access. Ther are none and he saw a pickup truck parked there. Looks good for the Nov run.
