How's Nov. for Trout?

It's been a while since chasing trout in the Fall. In general what has been your expirience for Nov. trout? Spotty? Good? You'd think with the days in the 40s and 50s there would be some nice hatches for holdovers. BTW: I already know the cape kettle ponds are good but can't get down there. Talking mostly central to east mass. streams and ponds.
