Quentin Awesome! Looks like you've got the camera figured out now!

Thanks for the close-up. I'll definitely tie some up and do some field testing!

Quentin Nice flies! Can you post a close-up of the stand up version so I can get a better look? I'd like to tie a few of those for my annual trip to Saratoga Lake!

The Pickerel: standing-up sitting-down and electrocuted

Yes, I realize how ironic it is that a fly called the pickerel is a smallie fly, but it's named after a lake made for this pattern.

Hook: stout 2-2/0 hook (jig mold hook on stand-up model)
Claws: pheasant body feathers
antenea: round rubber
Eyes: bead chain ( circular foam on stand-up)
Body: your favorite chenille/dubbing mix with your favorite bugger hackle, I like olve antron mixed with brown rabbit for the body and grizzly hackle.
tail (optional): pheasant body feather
weight: wrapped lead or on stand-up model two split shot on mono
Skirt (optional): fuzzy fiber

The stand-up version is still a prototype but sits just like a crayfish on the rocks
