Great Lakes Spey Clave Thank You

I would like to take a moment and thank everyone who made this years Clave possible(mother nature tried to shut it down but Gore Tex and sun shine wouldn't let her).

First off to Andy Murray and Neil Houlding with their fine demonstrations and one on one time spent with attendees. Both guys did a bang up job demonstrating their casts and sharing their patience resolving our casting mis-cues.

Next off to Brian from Sage for rods and brats, he also tends a mean grill.

A big thank you to Glen and Ty without their support and help the Clave never would have happened.

To Bob B. who ferried Andy around the Newaygo countryside and insured his comfort.

To Bob Meiser(a Forum sponsor), for providing demo rods as well as a great rod to auction off to attendees. The proceeds from which afforded us a post Clave cook out beyond compare. If any one left hungry it was their own fault. Meiz, you have to come out next year and sample some of our Mid-West cooking and brew. Bob sent 9 rods out for us to test, I know Peter for one got very friendly with a certain 11' something.

Last but not least to all of you who came from near and far to gather and enjoy 2 days of Spey fever.

A big THANK YOU to one and all.
