Build a Rod

About a month ago I did a stupid thing, I left my favorite flyrod in my small inflatable, on top of the truck, then drove home, about 55 miles, needless to say, it wasn't there when I got home. I have been using one of the first graphite rods I built 20 some odd years ago, an arm killer. Last week I sent to Cabella's for a rod blank and components to build a new rod. When I got back from fishing Monday, I found the blank in the garage. Tueday I had to go to the doctor's so it just sat there. Wednesday I started assembling it. Today Thursday I have it all built, and tonight the finish is curing. Should be done tomorrow. I will be using it next weekend at the RI Clave if anyone is interested. It is a 9 ft. 8 wt.. cost including shipping about $140.
