Dble Haul Afternoon action for pike is consistent for this time of year. When the clave happens in about a month, there's a very good chance that we'll be crossing paths with shad and stripers as well.

Salmon Cove 3/27

Checked out Salmon Cove on the CT yesterday. Nothing doing for me but another chap in a Kayak has been having some pretty consistent action - afternoons have been fishing better than mornings. A fabulous day to be out on the river.

I thought about heading up to Haddam Meadows but didn't fancy sharing the water with the Armada

I would say things are looking rather good for the Pike clave
