Russ Peak Fly Rod

Does anyone know about a "Russ Peak, Zenith PGG Elite"? It's 9', 4 piece with internal ferrels, 5 7/8oz, and was created for Dr Joel Bodammer #13659...a softer classic salmon rod, I suspect.
From what I can gather, Russ Peak was influential in Naval research during the 50's&60's regarding composite boat hulls, fiber glass PT boats, submarine hulls, and the move to graphites and the like...and he dabbled in custom fly rods. (A Mike Angello sort of guy?!) I have the opportunity to own this fine rod and I'm lookin' for input. Thanks!
Cheers and safe wading!
