RE:New Reel Setup

Sounds like you are ready for the big stuff this year Nick! Looking forward to those dawn sorties again.

Rich is an awesome sponsor and friend, we're lucky to have him in our midst.

New Reel Setup

Last night I finally ordered a reel to complement my 8wt rod that I built this winter on a St. Croix blank. For my first project, I think it went fairly well, but that is another story. I ended up going with a Redington Large Arbor 7/8 with an Airflo multi tip. Rich at Fly Rod and Reel gave me a good discount with his Fly from the swap, and recommended the line. I figured I would give it a try and it does give me some flexibility without breaking the bank. Hope it turns out well!
