Bumber about your knee

but while you're recovering I hope that you can sit at the tying bench so you'll be fully stocked for the season to come.

Those darned hot dogging snowboarders!

Jere, I understand. the last 15 yrs I had a job where if I wasnt there, I made no money. unfortunately, I just got wiped out by a young snowboarder.wiped out a trip that was fully paid and I stupidly did not have trip insurance.I am down for two months with a broken ,plated ,screwed together knee.Beau

Dean River

Hi Beau, I can't swing anything but the early Aug. time. My staff takes that time off and it's not feasible for me to be closed in July too. When I'm not in the office nobody works.
By the way, how's the life of the unemployed? Are you bored with your new "office" vistas yet?

Bob, I've done the trip as a solo twice in the past...early in the season, but John would like me to find a partner during that time frame this year.

Jere, partner not a problem.

Jere,
My first year at Blackwell's I bunked with a stranger. Fantastic gentleman, terrific steelhead fisherman, now a friend for life.

Going solo is not a barrier to a great experience. You don't need to have a partner. And your desired August rod-days are available.

Looking for a Dean river Partner

I've fished the lower Dean river twice before with John B. but have
only been there early in the season. I'd like to get there later during the first two weeks of August, but his cabins are set up for two, and I am only one (although I am the size of your normal two). Any body interested but lacking a partner? I am.

Fishing Opportunities on the Dean River, BC

John Blackwell, owner of Moose Lake Lodge and Blackwell's Dean River Camp advises there are some rod-weeks available on the Dean this season in June, July and August. I fished Blackwell's Dean River Camp the last four years and recommend it highly.

Interested folks can contact John Blackwell directly at mooslk@telus.net

Feel free to PM me for additional information.
