Dble Haul John's flies arrived yesterday and look dynamite.

Peter- Maybe next time. Trust me, this won't be the last pike swap.

peter-s-c Missed this swap -- doing any more? I have a Yak 9 that's been known to nail a pike or two -- a very simple tie of mostly yak hair.

Dble Haul Pete's flies are here and look very fishy.

Quentin OK, I'll do the yellow rabbit fur strip. It's actually a variation of a fly you posted. My photo and recipe are in the archives.

The original version is unweighted except for the copper wire. If anyone would like me to add a little lead let me know.

Dble Haul The yellow rabbit fly sounds interesting. Then again, there's always deceivers and grocery patterns tied in bright colors. They always seem to do well.

Quentin I haven't decided on a pattern for this one yet.

The only flies I've caught pike on so far are the frog diver that I did for the deer hair swap, a couple different flavors of woolly buggers and a fly with a yellow rabbit fur tail and body.

I'd be happy to do something different for this swap. Any suggestions or requests?

Pike swap flies arriving

I got my first set of flies for the pike swap yesterday. Sean's double bunnies arrived and look super.

Looking forward to more!
