Pike flies

Thanks mark Understand that. Same thing with steelies short hook.

Dble Haul Jim, I don't tie my pike flies on tubes but I know a few folks who do. They don't do it for the durability; rather, they do it for the advantage in fighting the fish (i.e., the fish has less leverage).

Something to consider, though....thanks for you input.

Pike flys on tubes

Just was wondering if any one out there tie pike flys on tubes. I do and it works pretty good they dont get chewed up as much. And if you use a spey rod you can make some good sized ones Thanks Jim
