josko I feel sheepish for offfering up such simple flies, but both of these are my goto's. The 4# mono is Maxima chameleon, which is rather dark and offsets the Krystal flash well. On the thread midge, the 8/0 dark thread is wound forward between the strands of the hard-twisted cream thread. The picture doesn't quite bring out the striations, but they're there.
