Caught in te Act

I have a great dog (fishing companion), he has been known to defend my fishing space from low holing and bait slingers. Some guy with his bait bucket showed up once and elbowed in on my spot so Benny ate his lunch. Karma I say. But he has one vice. Deer hair, squirrel tails, hackle necks. It pisses me off, but Ive never caught him in the act, and it always results because I forgot to close the door, or forgot to put my stuff away. Im not about to take it out on the dog though, and its something I have learned to live with. I have threatend to use some of his long black tail fur to tie a few black intruders though. Hmmm...

CDG - you can't blame the cat for trying to chase away intruders.

mattzoid Had a bird dog eat all my calf tail one time. It was easy to spot what needed to be cleaned up in the yard.

flyfisha1 Yes, this situation happens around here, as well. Only thing is, we have a pair of the little monsters requiring that I'm watching the desk constantly when things are out. The benefit is that these two are just the right color for blue dun patterns...
Not that I'd ever think about anything so industrious...

Ronn Lucas That's some nice ginger hair there. Zonker strips! LOL

Had a dog once that chewed up some fresh Deer hair I had curing in my tying room. It happened once!

Happy Trails!
