Greenwich Bay fish kill

Millions of peanut bunker and juvie herring succomed to oxygen depletion and covered the shores of Greenwich Bay. The news said the shore was covered for 17 mi. The culprit was said to be nutrients which cause algae blooms that suck up all the oxygen. The RIDEM said the total was only about 1% of the baitfish in the area.
