nbrandon Hey! Glad to hear it!

I went out friday after work. Bought a new leader at the tackle shop, but was in such a hurry to get fishing, i decided my old leader was "Good Enough". Tied on a hares ear, and on the third cast hooked into a nice big brown. I saw it boil, a tail the size of my hand broke the surface, he turned downstream and was gone...

Just my luck, i'll go back with the 8wt this weekend.

Near Nuff Crayfish did the trick!

On Saturday I fished for largemouths in a small, shallow pond that's connected to the Housatonic. I tried a couple different flies without success and then tied on the Near Nuff Crayfish that I got in the fly swap and promptly caught 3 largemouths . Biggest was a chunky 15"er. Thanks Neil!
