Bring your fly rod and call Capt. Omar Orraca. Check out his web site at Don't expect any bonefish (they can be had on some of the outer islands like Culebra and Vieques) but you can definately mix it up with some tarpon and/or snook.

Heading To San Juan, Puerto Rico - should I pack a flyrod?

I will be heading to San Juan, Puerto Rico towards the end of February and am wondering how the fishing is down there. I would love to bring a flyrod if it is worth it. Do they have bonefish there? Also would appreciate if anyone had any tips about the area - is it best to go with a guide, and if so - do you have any guide recommendations?
