Canuck I agree with Dave. Getting wet is not a problem on WM style boats. This is particularly true of the new Kodiak WM craft which is somewhat pointed at stern and bow.

Dave Inks Your coments are valid for someone who has not used the raft. that is not a problem because the ovid shape of the tubes prevents that from happening and the raft does not get hung up on most rocks unless the water is less than 3 inches deep.

River From the pictures on the link it looks like a well built boat. My concern about the style would be when you get stuck on a rock in a river.

To me it seems like you would get a bunch of heavy water over the top and pushing onto you and all through your stuff. Sure it is self bailing but it seems like the sides should be higher -- unless the intention is for smaller rapids, then it would probably be good for that. Just an opinion.

It does look like it is well built though. I am sure that for some applications it might be very good...

Did I miss something???

I've been gone a few days working sportsman show. Was there some confusion on these style boats??? Let me in, would love to find out what was being said about them.

If you would like to complete story on the Kickboat contact me and check out the sight of There seems to be a lot of gas in the air and a slight breeze from me can clear up all of the air in circulation.
