Thanks Greg. I moved the island image above to my server since the Hermit Island server was a dog. Ya it looks very fishy. As in all family vacations that time between first light and children waking up is all important.
Hey Doug, we will want a full scouting report!

I camped at Hermit Island several years ago, before I was into SWFF. I was just thinking recently how fishey that place looked, the front beach, the cliffs on the north side, and the channel near the NE tip! Try to avoid a site on the back (south) side, the marshey area there makes for VERY buggie evenings!

Doin' a weekend there in May. This will be the 3rd year in a row. A little early for a lot of schoolies, but there should be a few.
Also manage a little freshwater bassin' in Maine every summer. Imagine if smallies grew to the size of stripers!

My wife calls me at work to tell me we got a 4/5 day reservation to camp at Hermit Island in Bath, Me. this summer. For those who don't know about it it's a beautiful Island surrounded by 5 miles of shoreline on the Me. coast. You can only camp in tents or pop ups. No RVs or Travel trailors allowed. They have boat launching facilities and a dock. There are many lagoons, rocks, and beaches to fish. I'm elated. Getting Reservations is not easy as it books up real fast. They are now taking weekend reservations.
And later in the summer our week vacation is on a lake in Maine with bronzebacks! I'm going to have a good summer. Yippee!!!
