Nice fly Sully... it would work along Nauset. The hackle will give it some nice action in the surf!

No it's not maribou. I left the whole saddle hackle intact.
There's four on each side.
About 4-5 strands of pearl flashabou on each side.
A bunch of gray maribou above that.
Topped with the center of a peacock feather(shiny eye)on each side with the herl running intact also.
Add a couple of silver eyes(5mm) run a dark colored marker along the top othe head and expoy spin dry.

Nice. I've been thinking of tying some more variations on Pollock for the rocks o' Nahant. That looks like a good one with the dark on top. I actually picked up some long Polar Fiber (brown for pollock). Not too easy to find. That might work on a pattern like that too. Is that Mirbou underneath?
