water pumping

Yes, the water was being pumped from the Quabbin. They usually keep pumping unless a storm is going to come through. The water is always cool when it is being pumped from the Quabbin, coming all that way under ground keeps it nice and cool for the trout and salmon.

John Desjardins I haven't made it there lately, but was the bubbler running? I'd expect it to cool things down quite a bit if it is running.

Just a walk

Went for another walk last night and didn't see any action.

thompson basin

Went down to Thompson Basin for a walk next to the water and to check things out last night. I saw one rise. I'm thinking of going down tonight around dusk. If I do, a report will follow. Anybody else been doing any fishing down there?
