5/4 CT River Report for Holyoke & Enfield

I checked out the Enfield and Holyoke sections of the Connecticut River yesterday. Water is still very high and discolored. Only a few fishermen at both places and no apparent signs of fish. The hot dog vendor at Holyoke said there were a few shad caught that morning, and one fisherman claimed to have caught one just before I got there. Zip for me. Couldn't even entice a smallmouth or rock bass Oh well, a beautiful day none the less.
