Strub, this could be a

killer Springer Salmon fly on the upper Rogue. This I've go to tie on larger hooks and give it a go. Guarrreeentee this would work on the Chetco (Brookings, Oregon) for fall salmon fishing at tide-water.

Location's are he Keys, Belize and Northern Bahamas.... Hook - 10 ( I had to use a 6 and the fly should be much smaller but this gives you the idea).... Thread-Green kevlar or Olive uni-thread.... Eyes- Stainless bead chain or lead barbell...... Body- Light transparent Swannundaze (I used v-rib).... Wing- Emerald green deer hair and green krystal flash.... More details in Brown's book and designed by Tom McGuane.
