San Diego Long range trip interest?

I'd like to do a san Diego long-range trip but am intimidated at being a lone outsider tacked onto a trip by a group of friends. Is there a chance we could get a group trip ('clave') together for one of these world-caliber bluewater fly trips? I would say this would be by far the best chance to get pelagics on a fly, ranging from tuna to wahoo, sailfish and marlin.
We would most likely be looking at a trip during the winter of 08-09.
Please post here if you're interested or would like more details. Trey Comb's book 'Bluewater fly fishing' has an in-depth description of what these trips are like.
