Jim Miller Hey Sean
I shoot with a digital Nikon D50 w/ 24-120 lens. I try to shoot in natural, even light. I take my light reading off the subject directly.
usually I will resize, sharpen, and edit in Photoshop C3.

If I am forced to shoot inside, I will light from 2 opposing sides and try to get back 2 feet or so from the subject. This is helpful as I don't get hotspots from the flash. (usually).

I will take 20 shots to get one good one. Part of that is my eyes don't focus quit as well as they once did.

Hope this helps

Jim

Smcdermott Jim,

Beautiful stuff as usual. Can you briefly describe your photography process. What camera and lighting steps etc...

Thanks,

Sean

mikez Juro those flies made me think of bluefish too - as in "there ain't no way I'd be willing to throw a fly that nice with all those @#!% bluefish around!"

With the bait I've seen this season so far, you'd also need some about 1 inch and some about a foot long.
