Smcdermott I don't own one and haven't ridden in one but there is a guy who uses one pretty often at the boat ramp near my house. Other than the fact that he seems to like to tie up the ramp while he unloads and sets the thing up it does appear to be well made and functional. He runs it in the cove and out into the bay on the right days and from what I have seen it appears to handle a light chop pretty well.

Porta bote

Has anyone here ever owned or ridden in a Porta bote? I'm wondering if they are worth the money they want for them.
