Sounds good, let me know if you need research assistance doc! I've found fish blitzing on high tides on both sides of the causeway during the bluefish years before I moved out west. Since moving back, I made a friend who is a big time Nahant angler, frequently finding 40" from the rocks... on black eels! Ed are you reading this? Just say no!

I think it will get better on Nahant as the season progresses and the harbor reaches it saturation point of migratory fishes.

Merrimack and Saugus Rivers,Nahant

Started an early morning trip to PI hoping to get into some high tide action. Not yet, east wind blowin 20 by 8:00. Cold. Home for mem day parade and family obs. Later-headed out for late afternoon and early evening scouting trip for new locations.
Checked out Bass PT. on Nahant. What a spectacular spot, east wind, no fish. Good "Cliff fishing" practice. No legal parking for non residents, very fishy looking spot.
Next checked out old haunt, Saugus River by Spuds. Some bait around, water very murky. Nothing happening. Definately in a slump. Time to get into my boat.
