Ann, ... Wow, ... thanx for the numbers.
Ours have always been much less than yours, ... seems like you're catching "down" to us
Salmon closed here on the 15th, ... but the "blues" are putting up a good showing in the 1-2-3 zones.
Tough critters this year. Water rocketed up twice with the rain, ... we're getting to perfect conditions now.
Met a couple Guides from your neck of the woods too. Nice fellows.

I've seen fish come in mid October a few years ago.
Is there a pattern??? Wish I knew

Ann I'm amazed the runs are so low. The Spey CATCHES this year are expected to be around 9000 this year down as little on last years excellent 10 000. The Tweed had over 600this week!!
Dee fish from last day of the season.

Gaspé's Final Counts
Thought I'd give you a little update on the Gaspé.
final counts on the three rivers...
September fishing this season compared to 2004 was a little more difficult, due to low water conditions.
Most hook ups were with NO 10,12 & 14 flies.... !!
Very politely, we were successful landing numerous fish!
Counts above were done in late September, however, there are more fish coming in.... last day, Sept 30, we fished Dartmouth river and could see 21 fresh fish below the lower bridge in Sector 1. ( estuary waters... )
Success to those still fishing!!
( pre-season draws coming up soon )
