No steel on the sky 6-04-05

I've been out of commission since January and made my first steel trip since then today. So of course I forgot my parking permit and had to fish places other than I planned

Anyway, popping in and around Monroe proved to be unproductive for steel. I must have spilled dolly attractant on a new fly I'm working on though, as they were climbing all over it. It's a long tail and they were grabbing it and shaking it! I kept shortening the trailer hook to not hook one and eventually switched to something else entirely.

P.S. Just getting back on the net too and I have to say "where's the traffic?" 5 days into the steelhead season and the last message is 6 days old and it's a happy birthday message to Sparkey?
