Dam Rabbits!

[URL=seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/207241_rabbits10.html]

I spend a lot of time at Rocky Reach Dam on the Columbia River working on the Smolt by pass program. In doing so every morning I would pass these little critters as I entered the site. These little rabbits brought much pleasure to us kids of all ages. I remember one afternoon a group of real Hell's Angels pulled up on their bikes, I'd say maybe 40 of them in full dress. It was great watching the bikers have their picture taken with these little furry creatures. The smiles on the face of the bikers looked exactly the same as the smiles on the 5 year olds getting their picture taken by parents.

For all of us who journey to the Metow to fish we will miss the stop at Bunny Rabbit Haven.
