Kinda sounds like a freshie to me!!! River was calling me all day, would have been there if I were not totally casted out from the clave the other day. Way to go man!!!!!

first sign of winter steel

On the Snoqualmie. Fishing a somber "Riach" size 1.5 spey in steelhead water on the swing. SDRed with the leader in my hand. That counts with Tarpon! Didn't get the chance to see any sea lice, which everyone always claims as proof they just caught a freshie But it was bright enough to distract a simpleminded guy like me. Oooooh shiny!
