Oh lots of choices...

Well I'm just going to start out with foam blocks and straps till I finalize my Yak rack decision. Thule and Yakima rack would run me about as much as a new yak! $30 in foam blocks will get me out fishin for stripers in my new Yak for now.

Kayak Carriers for Fiberglass caps

I'm a newbie to kayaking and just took the plunge for a OK prowler. I have a 4X4 with a fiberglass cap and confused about Carriers for the Yak. The fiberglass Cap is a Leer with a uneven bow in the top, no rain gutter or lip to mount with. I have been thinking a rail or v roller accross the rear of the cap would be nice for loading from the rear. I'm not too familiar with rack systems available, I see a couple new choices there as well.

Thoughts and suggestions are welcomed as I should have my kayak by friday and am pretty clueless on what to get at the moment.
