I used that very reel on my first bonefish tip and it did fine, I landed probably 20 bones up to 7lbs and when I returned I sent it in to make sure the drag was still ok and SA sent it back saying all was good! Don't know about travally.

Scientific Anglers System2 89L Reel

Hi guys - I'm new to this forum

I've got a trip to Bali planned in October and I'm considering taking the reel mentioned above - however I'm not sure how the drag will perform on fast running fish - I've never put it to the test.

Has anone had any experience of this reel hooking a bonefish / trevally or similar? I dont want to shell out for a new reel if I dont need to.....
