Roop I have a dual axle trailer, last winter I had a trailer shop take a look at them and they replace 2 bearings when the re-built the brakes.

Personally, I would rather replace then re-pack just to avoid any problems.

Good luck,

trailor maintenance

Did some work on my trailer over the weekend. The guy who had my trailor before me never did any maintenance on the rollers. I had two fall off last year and one this year. The guy at the trailor store said the crimp clips and washers should be replaced every five years. My trailor is nine years old and most of the crimp clips were all corroded and needed to be drilled out to replace them. It was a big job that I am glad I got done. Any body else out there with an Easy Loader roller trailor have any comments?

How about the bearing hubs, they have some corrosion on the outside of them. The bearings are always kept well greased, but I wonder about the hubs. Any ideas on how long they last before they should be replaced?
