Any idea what specific conductivity means to fish?

I ran across this web page last night and thought that others could benefit from it.

It gives more data than you normally get from the USGS. But, it leaves me with a question. What does the specific conductivity tell you about the water quality?

The temperature data makes me think that a couple of degrees colder & the holdover fishing will heat up.
