One thing that bugs me about my Teton is it's sensitivity to sand particles. Are there reels designed with tolerances that would keep this from being an issue, or am I dreaming?

Reel for Sage RPLXi

No, I don't believe that a reel "matches" with a rod, but recently saved almost a coupla hundred bucks on this new rod and would like to get a reel worthy of being mated with this rod

Figure I have about $200-300. Anyone?
