Here is a pattern that I created for our GL fishery that works great for staging fish, and although I have not tried it for skamania, I bet it you be a treat for them as well.

Dan's Green Butt SS(Sparkle Skunk)

Hook: Tiemco spey hook #6 - 1/0
Thread: Black uni 8/0
Tag: Caddis green ultra chenille
Underbody: Black sparkle dubbing
Rib: Gold tinsel(small)
Hackle: Black Schlapplen
Wing: Black Kyrstal Flash

Let me know if you tie it and try it out, would love to hear how you did on it.:D :D
