Pattern Instructions
Crystal Egg Fly: Cerise
Species: great lakes trout, steelhead, salmon
Thread: red, orange, or white
Hook: Standard egg fly hook, ensure it is strong for steelhead and salmon. Hook can be weighted or unweighted
Body: Cerise crystal chenille
Veil: Tuft of yarn, white or orange
Technique: dead drifted using standard nymmph techniques
When: Spring, Fall, and Winter in higher water flows and/or stained water conditions.
