But I've been using my $129 Dan B's for at least 3 years, summer and winter (just more on due to lower water temps) and they're working just fine. Well, an 'errent' cast/fly in butt has caused a patch or two.
Haven't tried them but the guide weights have been incredible for me for the last few years. They are so new I don't think too many folks have had the chance to field test them.
Ive got a pair on the way and will report back when after I spend some time on the water with them...
I can say that the features alone make these waders worth the cost...and if they are as durable as Simms says they are...then they are no doubt worth the $425
Well since nobody else has a pair I have bitten the bullet and bought them and I for one couldn't be happier with them. They are a great improvement over the guide weights and the added features means I don't always have to wear my vest or worry about gravel in my boots anymore(the aftermarket guards didn't work well on my old waders). The only problem is now how do I use my neoprenes since I won't be wearing them ever again!!! Please help any and all creative suggestions will be welcome
Please let us know about the G3's, I am sorely tempted to buy a pair.
