Tried a Sand eel... interesting..... underbody is corsair this time.very basic...corsair about 1/2 the length then eyes and folded:

Nice. So I assume you used the mother of pearl color sili skin and then colored the flies yourself with markers? Or did you use some of the colors it comes in?

Josh.. I just used what Rich Murphy gave me.. and I did color it in..I have been thinking that I like working with feathers.. not sure we see many of these from me going forward...I think they would make great crab bodies and especially shrimp...not sure on bait fish..but it is good material as compared with the use of epoxy.

Striblue,

What is this sili-skin material like? Could you maybe post a photo of it? Is it stiff or rubbery? Just thinking about some ideas I have for a streelhead shrimp fly and am curious...
