I am catching the 8:00 AM Rip Ryder ferry on Monday 7/23/01. This is only my second time out there and the first time this year. I'm going with a buddy from Eldredge Bros. Fly Shop in Cape Neddick, ME and both of us are Momomoy newbies.

I am looking for some general advice of patterns and locations to fish the morning incoming tide. (I'm also a litle unsure of which tide chart to use...is it "Chatham [Inside]"?)

Even the most general info. would be helpful.

Thank you in advance.

Eric.

Stick with Stage Harbor instead of Chatham Inside, add a little to give the water time to push into the tub. It's a big tide, you picked a good one but don't go where you shouldn't and get back in time if you do.

You have two choices - south beach and north monomoy. South Beach is the easier of the two and has just as many fish most of the time.

I might be there that day if I decide to take the day off. If so I'd be glad to point you in the right direction.

I will be out there on North Monomoy that day probably for a few hours and checking out the crib... tide dependant.
