Looks like it spin casting only that leaves all of us out except for the closet spin casters amongst us.
Looks dangerous sliding on a wet icy railing fighting a big atlantic off one of those islands off of Mount Desert. Could fall into the ocean if you go backwards to far. Beautiful park Acadia is, took a ton of pictures there. Just about all of them were good ones due to the great scenery.
Check out the pictures of the fish pen.

Sounds to me like this might be the answer to getting the meat fishers off the river. Perhaps, there should be special harvest opportunities for oversized farm raised salmon in the net pens so that the will be guaranteed to catch the big fish for the freezer and bragging rights with the neighbors. Then we could have C&R on our native steelhead. The fishing regulators could charge a bit higher license fee for this priviledge and allow the lucky fishers to keep as many fish as they catch in say 6 hours.
Perhaps this is how we can get fish farms moved inland as well. The fish farming operations could make extra income from the indeavor and the fish and game department could claim it was simply looking for new opportunities for fishermen to harvest desireable species.

Basically atlantic salmon pay for fee ponds like we have for trout through out the US. Let the meat fisherman go at it.
