I have taken a back seat for personal reasons, however I'm still a member and I do plan to attend, I'm planning on winning that bonefish trip AND the yak! As well as some of those "Striblue Flies", if there are any on the raffle table!;)

Fred, I just heard that the pile of auction and raffle items is up to about $14,000 worth of stuff including a Bonefish Trip (split it with ya?) and a trip to Texas for redfish. I've been to the CCA headquarters in Houston, now there is some hospitable people! I bet they will show the lucky winner a good time down there.
I just sent in my reservation and I encourage everyone to do the same. Let's make this a huge success and start the Cape Chapter off on the right foot with our first major event.
BTW, Fred bring your rod, that beach out front of the Sea Crest is one of my most favorite, secret spots for late season cows. But let's not tell anyone else, OK?

That bonefish trip sounds interesting.
I think I stayed at the Sea Crest about ten years ago to attend my wife's class reunion. Nice place. I've been thinking the same thing (bringing my rod), if it is indeed the same place.

I've been to a number of reunions there, That's the place!

Head count is needed early next week.
This should be a good time and there's lots of good stuff ($14000 worth) to raffle and auction off.
I understand a block of rooms have been reserved if you and your better half are looking for a getta-way night out. Stayed there a few years back - nice place - and you can sneak out in the early am and wet a line!
