Here are some pics I took from the last couple of days out fishing. I took my friend Al out several times and we took Sean McDermott out with us on Monday as I took a day off from fishing on Sunday to spend some time with the wife who has not seen much of me lately. All in all not a bad few days of fishing and hopefully there is still alot of fishing left before we all have to hang it up for another season. Here is a link to all of the pics for those who just want to look at what I have online www.fishcontest.com/Mike (http://www.fishcontest.com/Mike)

Great bunch of Pics Striper!!! I was up your way Tuesday 10/1 but found no Alberts. I left out of Saybrook and buzzed around the Lighthouse for a while and picked up 15 or so Blues ( 4-6lbs ). Later I went up to Niantic.... nary a boat or fish to be found. Made a judgement call around 3:30pm not to run to the Sluiceway and decided to stick close to where we had blues earlier. GREAT CALL we had so many blues it was laughable! Great fishing on light tackle. Sorry, I did not toss the fly due to sheer numbers of fish and lack of extra flylines. Just as well because between two of us we boated close to 60 blues on the day.

Shoot me an e-mail so we could hook up and get out for some Stripes and Albies.

Mike,
I have to say that was one of the most productive, educational and most of all fun days I have ever had on the water. I can't thank you enough for your generosity. The wealth of information that you and Al shared about setting up a drift, feeding patterns etc...was invaluable to a newcomer like me. Not to mention these photos will backup the great stories I now have to share.

Thanks again,
Sean

Wow Mike, Sean and Al.

You guys have had more Albie action than many of us see in years. Thats great! Hope your around this weekend would enjoy getting together out on the water sometime.

Is the green crab hatch still on? It sounded as though you might have tied up some green crabs for use.

Tight Lines,
Greg.
