favourite waking patterns

Just doing a little work on the bench and looking for some creative ideas.What are everyone's favourite waking patterns and colors these days for summer runs?

My best success has come from the following simple rule - "looks like a caddis". This may not apply on all rivers but from now thru October it was the golden rule and put a lot on my line over the years.
