Salmon have moved in.....

Salmon have moved in many of Michigan's rivers, and many throughout the Great Lakes as well. Rain and cooler temps will be ideal for pushing fish up the rivers. Anglers are doing well on the Pere Marquette, Manistee, Platte and Betsie, with many other Lake Michigan tribs holding fish. Fish have been in some rivers for weeks, depending on temps and flows. Spawning is taking place on a few tribs, but more will hit the gravel in the next few weeks.

Also, steelhead and lake run browns have ascended a few of the rivers, and are feasting on salmon eggs.

Get ready for the season, I won't be out as much as I would like to, but I will find time to hit my local rivers. :hehe:

Last night at Comiskey Park in Chicago, Cletus (father) and Clyde (son) had to take their frustration out on the the KC Royals first base coach maybe due to the delay in the great lakes salmon snagging season due to our warm weather and lack of rain.

I wonder where the White Sox security people were, I think I know, due to the low crowds they were probably up in the mezzanine eating at the end of the game

Very embarassing event for baseball and Chicago.

Can't wait to hear what Bud the Comis has to say today.

Oh well is football season and our baseball teams will be done in a couple of weeks as usual
