Reservations have been made for the 9th through the 13th at the wesku inn. We got a cabin on the river and are looking forward to spending a little time together after the wedding.
Will get to do some fishing as well. My question to those experienced on the rogue. What flies should I be bringing? I assume the typical low water old standbys will work just fine?

Rogue fish seem to like buggy flies. Fred Evans intrduced me to a truly ugly fly called an Otis bug but it caught fish. Another favorite is the dirty bird; recipe is in the current issue of American Angler. All the best to you and your new bride.

Do you know any history on the "otis bug"?

Grab Andy Zwan (aka Fish-head on the board); he into'ed me to this little Rogue marvel and may know the history. This is his go-to fly 90% of the time.
Simple to tie (whole thing can't take 90 seconds from start to head cement) but darn thing's work. As you're going to be here in september I'd also recommend you have some 'october cad's' as they can also be hugly effective at that time of the year.
If you have the time/inclination would love to get together with you when your down here.
Send me a PM and I'll give you my office, home and cell numbers.

Not yet Fred but I have faith. Just moved so my forwarded mail is taking a little longer to get to me. The post office tells me I should get the backlog tomorrow. If not I will just have to drag you out of bed at 5:30am to show me the spots yourself:hehe:

before I left for France. If you don't get it tomorrow, e mail me at Frederick_Evans@Keybank.com and I'll Airborne another copy to you tomorrow. Will need your new address. Time is short and there's about 6.000 fish in the upper river ... you're call if you don't take up the 'second pass' offer.
