What is the best dry pattern to imitate them . Bomber's , Wakers ,etc . Or has anybody come up with or found something better ? Thank's Fish-head
This is what I use the most, also without the muddler head on a standard loop eye hook. Lady Caroline Spey is a good summer choice, don't forget all phases of the sedge's life cycle!\

fish-head,
Pretty much any rusty-orange colored dry fly in size 6 or 8 will work. I prefer those that skate because of design or because they are tied to easioly accommodate a hitch. My favorite is either Bill McMillan's Stealhead Caddis in rusty orange or Harry Lemire's Grease Liner with a rusty orange body. A friend prefers an all rusty orange bomber and another friend prefers an orange stimulator. In other words, take your pick as long as it is rusty orange.
