I'm new here so I hope this is the place where I should make this request. While moving recently I broke off a section of the tail fin on my trout plastic cast. I've had it for several years and want to repair it the best way possible. Any ideas from any of you cast makers????
Looks like a pretty good site.
With the help of my old-timer neighbor I made a cast of a 15# steelhead (first ever) following the A.J. McClane method, plaster with sisal rope strands to reinforce, two-part, etc.
I guess with all the painting it would be a pain to re-cast but do you still have the mold?

No I don't have it. Actually my father-in-Law made it years ago. It's only the tip of the tail fin; probably about an inch or a little less. I guess I could glue it but I was hoping there was a way to make more professionally "right." You know with epoxy or something like that.
Thanks for you input!
