Fished about an hour on the low outgoing both mornings. Just schoolies, 16 to 20" but it's always nice to get out and feel a tug, even if it's a little tug. Fished on the inside of the spit off the jetty. The spit looked interesting but I was trying to conserve time so I didn't venture out to far.

Fred, that's some timely info for me. I'll be in that area this weekend for my parents' 35th anniversary, and my dad and I were planning on hitting Pine Point and the Graveyard.
Thanks for the report!

Lots of sandeels. With the low light conditions (nice and foggy yesterday) I think I may have had more consistancy with a brighter version of the deep eel I was using. There's a neat trough that runs in an arc from the jetty up the beach and out that looks like it might be interesting at higher tide stages. Took a few casts there yesterday, the current was moving pretty good, but by that time the water was a little skinny.
